Before It’s Too Late: How to Prevent
Workplace Violence

According to statistics at the National Victim’s Center, over 1 million people will become victims of violent crime while at work. For women, the numbers become even more frightening -- homicide is the leading cause of death from an occupational injury. Once violence occurs, it’s already too late. In this workshop, we help you “get them before they get you.”

This course focuses on techniques for dealing with difficult, potentially violent people.

You’ll learn how to:

• Apply an understanding of psychological dynamics to identify warning signs of potentially violent behavior
• Use an interactive model that helps diffuse aggressive behavior
• Communicate clearly and effectively when confronted with hostility
